Payment Terms

Last Updated:September 10, 2025

1. Accepted Payment Methods
At Synapik, we strive to provide a secure and convenient checkout experience. Currently, we accept payments exclusively through PayPal. This allows us to offer our customers in the European and North American markets a trusted, fast, and secure payment processing service.

2. Payment Processor
All payments for your order are processed securely by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. (for the EU) and PayPal, Inc. (for the US and other regions). Synapik does not directly collect or store your credit card or bank account information. By using our checkout service, you are also subject to the PayPal User Agreement.

3. Payment Timing

  • Full payment for your order, including the product total, shipping fees, and any applicable taxes (e.g., VAT, GST, sales tax), must be received and confirmed by PayPal before your order is processed and prepared for shipment.

  • Your order is not officially confirmed until we receive a payment confirmation from PayPal.

4. How to Pay with PayPal
You can complete your purchase using PayPal even if you do not have a PayPal account. During checkout, you will be redirected to PayPal's secure server to complete the transaction. You have the following options:

  • PayPal Account: If you have a PayPal account, you can log in and authorize the payment.

  • Debit or Credit Card (via PayPal Guest Checkout): You can pay using major credit or debit cards (such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) without creating a PayPal account. This is processed securely by PayPal as a guest transaction.

5. Currency
All transactions are charged in the currency displayed on our checkout page. PayPal will handle any necessary currency conversions based on the exchange rates and terms set by PayPal. The final amount charged may vary slightly based on your card issuer's exchange rates if your card is denominated in a different currency.

6. Sales Tax / VAT / GST

  • United States: Sales tax will be calculated and added to your order during checkout based on the shipping destination address, as required by state and local laws.

  • European Union: For customers within the EU, Value-Added Tax (VAT) is applied at the rate of the member state where the goods are delivered. The applicable VAT will be clearly displayed during checkout.

  • Other Regions: Other taxes, such as Goods and Services Tax (GST) in Canada or Australia, will be applied where required by law and displayed before you complete your purchase.

7. Payment Security
PayPal uses extensive fraud prevention measures and advanced encryption technology to protect your financial details. We rely on their secure infrastructure to ensure your payment information is safe.

8. Failed Payments
If your payment fails or is declined by PayPal or your financial institution, your order will not be processed. Common reasons for failure include:

  • Insufficient funds.

  • The transaction exceeding your card's limit.

  • Incorrect billing information entered.

  • Security checks triggered by your bank.
Please contact your bank or card issuer to resolve the issue, or try an alternative payment method within your PayPal wallet.

9. Refunds & Returns
All refunds for returned or cancelled items will be issued only through PayPal to the original PayPal account or payment method used for the purchase. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to be processed by us and reflected in your account by PayPal. For details, please refer to our Return & Refund Policy

10. Authorization Hold
When you place an order, PayPal may place a temporary authorization hold on your funds for the order amount. This is a standard practice to ensure funds are available. If you cancel your order before it ships, this hold will be released by PayPal according to their policy (typically within 1-5 business days).

11. Contact for Payment Issues
If you encounter any problems during payment or have questions about these terms, please contact our customer support team at Synapik@outlook.com before attempting to place another order.

12. Changes to Payment Terms
Synapik reserves the right to modify these Payment Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
